Are navigation maps still necessary in autonomous vehicles? In this talk I will give you a brief overview of the history and meaning of cartography and how the maps have to change to be still useful for the customer. All working examples are implemented with Qt3D.
I will give you a short summary of the history of cartography and which impact it has on our lives. The changes which have to be done to make maps still relevant in autonomous vehicles and how QT3D helped us to develop good looking prototypes.
